09 April 2003 - Ant 1.5.3 released
This is a maintenance release that fixes several serious bugs in the zip family of tasks found after Apache Ant 1.5.2 was released. For a full list of changes see here.

Apache Ant is a Java-based build tool. In theory, it is kind of like Make, but without Make's wrinkles.
