28 February 2007 - Apache HiveMind 2.0-alpha-1 Now Available
The Apache HiveMind project is pleased to announce the availability of HiveMind 2.0-alpha-1. HiveMind is an services and configuration microkernel. Its features are also referred to as nversion of Control (IoC) Container or Lightweight Container.
HiveMind 2 is a complete refactoring of HiveMind 1 with the goal to support alternative ways of defining a registry. Besides xml module descriptors now a Java Registry Definition API and an Annotation Based Definition API are supported.
