20 June 2007 - Apache Software Foundation established three new Top Level Projects
The Apache Software Foundation has established three new Top Level Projects (TLP) - Apache Quetzalcoatl, Apache Wicket, and Apache Commons.
- Apache Quetzalcoatl: this springs mod_python and related bits out of the Apache HTTP Server project into its own TLP. Gregory Trubetskoy is the first Chair.
- Apache Wicket: this is a light webapp framework for Java, graduating from the Apache Incubator into its own TLP. Martijn Dashorst is the first Chair.
- Apache Commons: this is the venerable Apache Jakarta Commons, now spun out into its own TLP, with Torsten Curdt as its Chair.
