<![CDATA[<a href="http://mina.apache.org/">The Apache MINA Project</a> is pleased to announce the release of MINA 2.0.0-M3.
<p/>
This release is finally done earlier than planed due to some serious performance regressions in 2.0.0-M2.<ul><li>4 bug fixes :<ul><li>Calling IoBuffer.slice() in CumulativeProtocolDecoder.doDecode() can cause data corruption.</li><li>Big performance drop in 2.0M2 CumulativeProtocolDecoder for large messages.</li><li>Running tests leave files in /tmp.</li><li>The proxy sample does not work - results in a NullPointerException.</li></ul></li><li>3 improvements :<ul><li>Moved ExceptionMonitor from core to util</li><li>IoFuture::isReady is renamed to isDone.</li><li>Port the 'Haiku' example to 1.0 and trunk.</li></ul></li></ul>
<p/>
This is a milestone release and is not yet considered suitable for production use. This release improve the code structure, documentation and provide bug fix and improvement since 2.0.0-M2. We are waiting your feedback for the next release.

The Apache MINA project is pleased to announce the release of MINA 2.0.0-M2.

Apache MINA is a network application framework which helps users develop
high performance and high scalability network applications easily. It
provides an abstract, event-driven, asynchronous API over various
transports such as TCP/IP and UDP/IP via Java NIO.

The latest release is now available here:

This is a milestone release and is not yet considered suitable for
production use. This release improve the code structure, documentation
and provide a large number of bug fix since 2.0.0-M1. We want to
thanks all the developers who started using the 2.0 MINA branch and
provided a lot of useful feedback for building this release.

This release has too many changes and fixed to enumerate in their entirety.  Some of the key improvements include:<ul><li>Simplified and more consistent API</li><li>Ability to share I/O processor threads between multiple servers and/or
clients</li><li>Improved support for streaming files</li><li>Improved String and JMX integration</li><li>Improved logging support</li><li>Framework for simplifying state machine creation and maintenance</li><li>Support for synchronous clients</li><li>OSGi integration</li></ul>
<p/>
This is a milestone release and is not yet considered suitable forproduction use.  The intent of this release is to showcase the new modified API and other improvements in MINA.  We hope that developers will start to use this release and provide feedback.

<![CDATA[<a href="http://mina.apache.org/">The Apache MINA project team</a> is pleased to announce the release of the Apache MINA version 1.1.0.  Apache MINA is a network application framework which helps users develop high performance and high scalability network applications easily.
<p/>
The 1.1.0 release is a Java 5 port of Apache MINA 1.0.x, which employed the new language features in Java 5 (i.e. generics and covariant return type).  Existing applications based on MINA 1.0.x can be ported to MINA 1.1.0 with very little effort.
